The Big Bend National Park is located in the state of Texas in the USA. It was established in 1944 and covers the area of over 3200 km2 (it is one of the largest national parks in the USA). In the Big Bend Park one may see many wild animal species, among others the puma, coyote, baribal or peregrine falcon. The Big Bend may boast many tourist routes, which develops hiking tourism to a large extent.
