Belaggio is the town located in the Italian region of Lombardy and is inhabited by three thousand people. The town is situated on Lake Como, which is famous for its characteristic shape resembling the letter Y. The lake also neighbors picturesque mountains, which guarantees unforgettable views. The village of Belaggio started developing as early as in the times of the Roman Empire, in 18th and 19th centuries it was a significant location of military hostilities. Villa Melzi d’Eril is the most famous historic monument of Belaggio, which was erected for the prince designated by Napoleon himself.
