Frankfurt is a large German metropolis situated on the River Main. The city is the seat of many banks, financial institutions and multinational corporations – their buildings are primarily located in the Bankenviertel business district. Frankfurt visually resembles New York and therefore it is sometimes nicknamed "Mainhattan". One of the largest airports in Europe is also located in Frankfurt. The skyline is dominated by the 300-meter Commerzbank Tower and the Europatrum - the highest tower in Frankfurt measuring 337.5 meters.
