Fort Worth is a large city located in the state of Texas in the south of the United States near the border with Mexico. It was the location in the border area that was the main factor to establish a city in this place in the middle of the 19th century. Making use of the natural qualities of the area a military unit was established here - hence the word "fort" in the name of the city. Along with soldiers, Fort Worth was also inhabited by their families, who needed schools, hospitals, commercial and service establishments, so the settlement began to grow rapidly and is today the 16th largest city in the country.
