Devil's Bridge (Germany) online puzzle
In the Saxon town of Gablenz, near the border with Poland, there is the picturesque Azalea and Rhododendron Park Kromlau established in 1844. The Rakotzbrücke, i.e. Devil's Bridge, over Lake Rakotz is its landmark. The crossing has a characteristic, arched shape: together with its reflection on the water surface, it forms an almost perfect circle, which is why it is eagerly photographed by the park visitors. The 19th-century bridge was built of basalt stones imported from quarries in the Czech Republic. On both sides it is decorated with clusters of rock pillars, which give it a somewhat gloomy look.
