Vitsa is a large village in the Greek region of Zagori, it lies near the Vikos Gorge. The settlement is divided into two parts - the upper and lower ones. Most of the houses, guesthouses and restaurants in the village were built of limestone. Among the landmarks of the village there are the double arched bridge of Missios and centuries-old plane tree, in the shade of which you can relax sipping chilled beer or ouzo. Spreading crowns of old trees also offer shade that is so desired in the afternoon, for that reason some chairs have been placed nearby. The area is famous for its unique limestone rock formations.
