St. Peter's Basilica (Vatican City) online puzzle
Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican is one of the most recognizable buildings in the world. According to Christian tradition, this temple was erected on the grave of Peter the Apostle, the first Pope. The dome of the basilica was designed by Michelangelo in 1546, but its construction was completed several dozen years later, after the death of the great architect. Via della Conciliazione, i.e. the Road of the Conciliation, leads to the famous Saint Mark's Square Peter that is located at the foot of the basilica. Since 1950, this road has been illuminated by two rows of characteristic street lamps.
