Legend has it that the town was founded by Hercules, who here had to defeat a three-headed, fire-breathing giant Cacus. According to historians, the beginnings of the settlement date back to the 8th century BC, when the area was dominated by the ancient people of Umbri. Currently, Todi is considered one of the most friendly towns in Italy. Beautiful architecture, attractive geographical location and unhurried pace of life make Todi a great place to live.
