Vietnamese pig, also called pot-bellied, is a domesticated pig that comes from the south-eastern part of Asia. The animal arrived in Europe for the first time in 1866 for the opening ceremony of the zoo in Budapest. The pig lives for about 10 years and weighs 60 kg on average. Such pigs have big bellies, very short legs and a dark coat. These friendly animals prove themselves as beloved pets. Vietnamese pigs become attached to people, they are very intelligent and learn quickly.
