Goat is a species of domesticated cloven-hoofed mammal, which for centuries has been bred mainly for milk and to a lesser extent for meat and skins. One of the most popular goat breeds in Europe is the Alpine goat, occurring in two varieties: French and British. This nice animal is distinguished by impressive horns, which are usually bent backwards, and a characteristic, long "beard". Goats feed mainly on grass and green parts of other plants. They are distinguished by cunning, endurance and ease of acclimatization in new places, which confirms the fact that in the past they accompanied nomadic people in their long walks.
