Macaw is the most popular species of parrots in the world. Macaws, which are relatively big, have colorful feathers (blue color dominates in their plumage) and characteristic beak, are long-lived birds – they live even 65 years. Macaws are especially known for the fact that some of the species are able to imitate human speech. In some cultures macaws are considered as love symbols.
