View of Cambridge (USA) online puzzle
The city of Cambridge lies near Boston in the US state of Massachusetts. It was founded in 1636 as New Towne, however, a decade later the name of the settlement was changed to the current one, referring to the University of Cambridge in England. The American city is also an important academic center, mainly due to Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which can be found in the city. Cambridge is a part of the metropolitan area known as Greater Boston.
