Gdańsk is a large city located on the Baltic Sea in the northern part of Poland. Its most representative part, where the most important monuments are located, is called the Old Town and is located in the heart of downtown, on the west bank of the Motława River. St. Mary's Cathedral, gates and towers, as well as centuries-old buildings are situated in the Old Town. There the crowds of tourists can admire the statue of Neptune, a characteristic port crane from 1444 called Żuraw or walk along the 480-meter riverside promenade called Długie Pobrzeże.
