Tejn is a Danish harbor town located on the island of Bornholm. A few decades ago its inhabitants were mainly fishermen and for that reason the town has retained the atmosphere of a fishing settlement with small, half-timbered houses and stone fences. Every day fishing boats set sail from the harbour. Although Tejn is visited by more and more tourists, its residents remain a highly integrated community. In 1940 the residents of the town built a church, which is officially the youngest temple on the island.
