Street in Zutphen (Holland) online puzzle
Zutphen is a Dutch Hanseatic city located in the province of Gelderland in the central part of the country. Zutphen was founded in the 11th century and is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands with an extremely rich history, which is due, among other things, to the location at the confluence of the two rivers – Berkel and IJssel. In the 16th century the city was occupied by the Spanish army and during World War II was occupied by the German Nazis. The most important monument of Zutphen is the Gothic church of St. Walburgis with the Protestant library in which valuable manuscripts are stored.
