San Francisco is a city located in the state of California on the west coast of the United States. Its panorama is one of the world’s most recognizable, mainly due to the movie industry. The city is known for such films as "High Anxiety", "A View to Kill" from the James Bond series and "Milk", as well as "Full House" – a TV series that was popular in the 1990s. It must be remembered that despite the fact that the city was founded in the mid-nineteenth century, the panorama of San Francisco with high towers is relatively young. In 1906 the city was struck by a massive earthquake, which damaged the gas line of the city, causing a lot of large fires. The cataclysm destroyed more than three-quarters of the city, but it was rebuilt quickly. In the 1970s and 1980s, in the process of the so-called Manhattanization of the center, the highest buildings in the city were erected creating the panorama that is known all over the world.
