Poros lies in the Saronic Archipelago in the Ionian Sea. From the hill on Poros, dominated by the white clock tower, you can admire not only the entire island, but also yachts sailing across the strait and the nearby town of Galatas, located on the Peloponnese, separated from the island by a two-hundred-meter sea channel. Tourists visiting this part of Greece often decide to visit both areas located on the mainland as well as the archipelago neighboring the peninsula. Both on Poros and in Galatas, beige facades of coastal residences blend in beautifully with the rich vegetation growing on the houses above the quayside.
