Poros is one of the Saronic Islands located in the Ionian Sea in the Greek region of Attica. It is inhabited by about four thousand people. The port of Piraeus is forty-eight kilometers away from the island, whereas only a two-hundred-meter channel separates it from the Peloponnese. The upland landscape of the island allows you to enjoy breathtaking views – the picturesque wharf of Poros, yachts navigating the sapphire waters of the strait and the panorama of the neighboring town of Galatas on the Peloponnese. The island is a popular destination for one- or two-day trips from mainland Greece.
