Poros is a small Greek island located in the Saronic Gulf. It consists of two smaller islands connected by a bridge. The historic buildings of Poros are dominated by low, neo-classical villas that originally belonged to wealthy merchants. The bright elevations of two-storey residential buildings look beautiful in the Greek sun, against the cloudless sky and the blue waters that surround the island. Mountainous areas dominate on Poros, most of the houses are built on the hill, thanks to that tourists wandering along winding streets can admire the panorama of Galatas, a town located on the nearby Peloponnese Peninsula.
