The city of Jacksonville is located on the St. Johns River in the US state of Florida. Wells Fargo Center, formerly known as the Modis Tower, is one of the landmarks of this large port city. This 37-storey building was put into use in 1974. It is distinguished by an original shape with a clearly wider base and characteristic corner frames. In the vicinity of the skyscraper there is the Main Street Bridge that was built in 1941 over the St. Johns River. This steel, lift bridge has four lanes. Its total length is 510 meters.
