Clock measuring time until New Year online puzzle
The turn of the Old and New Year is an extraordinary time. In ancient cultures it was believed that the boundary between important periods of time is a dangerous moment because it does not belong either to the time that is just passing or to the one to come. This is why midnight is commonly considered an hour of ghosts – it the moment when one day ends and the next begins, what is more, many pagan holidays were celebrated during the summer and winter solstice, when the seasons changed. Currently, we do not assign much significance to such moments, however, the New Year is still an important point of the calendar and is associated with strong emotions.
