The Songdo Park, modeled on New York Central Park, is located in the Songdo business district of the South Korean metropolis of Incheon. This green area is surrounded by skyscrapers and covers the area of 41 hectares. There are vast lawns, forested areas, beautiful alleys, cafes and restaurants. The park stretches along the river, the size of which allows for sailing. There are river taxis and small boats and motorboats can be rented. The park attracts tourists, as well as residents of Incheon tired of hustle and bustle of the city. At weekends the park is full of picnicking and walking people, resting from the noise of the metropolis inhabited by almost three million people.
