The town of Hua Hin is located in the province of Prachuap Khiri Khan, on the Gulf of Thailand. The town of Hua Hin ("Stone Head") is a beautiful tourist resort as well as the summer residence of the kings. There is a royal palace called Klai Wang Klangwon ("Far from worries") in the town. The 4-kilometer beach is adjoined by luxurious hotels, shops, restaurants and exclusive apartment buildings, in which the wealthy residents of Bangkok rest.
