Menton is a small town in the south-west of France, in the region of Provence on the coast of the Ligurian Sea, which is the part of the Mediterranean Sea. The Orthodox Church of the Icon of Our Lady and Saint Nicholas as well as the Church of Saint Michael the Archangel are the best known historic buildings of this picturesquely located town. The colorful architecture of the town is even more attractive due to lemons that are grown in the region – every winter the lemon festivity is celebrated.
