Bird’s eye view of Sibenik (Croatia) online puzzle

Sibenik is a port town located in central Dalmatia where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea. Unlike the other ports located on the Adriatic coast, which were established by the ancient Greeks and Romans, Sibenik was built by the Croats in the early Middle Ages. Despite the turbulent history of the town, which changed hands over the years (the last battle was fought in 1991 during the civil war), the old architecture of the town was not destroyed. Beautiful historic buildings and warm Mediterranean climate attract numerous tourists, who walk along narrow streets and relax on sandy beaches.
